Artscape has already come and gone this year – so thank god for photos! I didn’t get to cover it this year, first I was sad about it but to be honest I’m actually kind of glad I was free to explore and not have to stress over a deadline. Last year I shot all day long all three days and in 105 degree heat it was brutal. This year it was a nice 78 degrees so not only did I get to enjoy no deadline, but I also got nice weather, alcoholic beverages and ALL THE FRIENDS too.
I took out both the Pentax EXY-R and the Canon A-1 and some Fuji and Kodak films. These ones are mostly the Pentax – I have an unfinished roll of 36 exp in the Canon so I’ll add them as they get processed.
Opps, don’t know what Artscape is? Sorry – it’s one of the biggest, if not the biggest, free arts festivals on the East coast. It takes place in front of and in the surrounding blocks of Penn Station in Baltimore City. They have a Ferris Wheel and a two-mile radius of arts vendors (paintings, sculptures, jewelry, photography, etc) food, drinks, bars, live performances (anything from music to aerial dancing). If you aren’t from Baltimore or have never been Artscape time is a great time to visit.
If you would like to regram, reblog, repost, whatever to any of these photos, PLEASE only do so by retweeting so my credit (my Twitter handle or my instagram name) goes along with the post. It is much appreciated!
I’ll have a handful more to add to this blog post – like I said before, I still have over half the roll left on the one in the Canon A-1 so I don’t want to waste it. The next blog post will be on my first run through of Color Implosion Film! I also have a few announcements/an update post that will be coming possibly this weekend or early next week so please stay tuned for that too. I hope you enjoyed my lazy, leisurely, somewhat drunken coverage of Artscape 2014.

Here are some iPhone shots since I didn’t take my digital camera out at all this weekend.
Have a nice weekend everyone!
Fabulous! Absolutely Fabulous!!
