Apple Day Tradition

I don’t typically put photos of my family on my blog. Despite being all over the internet, I’m a relatively private person when it comes to that type of stuff. Since I have so many people that are interested in my daily life (for whatever reason) I felt that maybe I should introduce you guys to some of mi familia!

Every year my family picks apples the Saturday before Thanksgiving. There’s this little place (and I mean LITTLE) on Catoctin Mountain and it’s an apple orchard. They have other stuff too – my favorites are the chai tea latte mix, apple cider and the venison jerky. My family all meets there and we get apples to make pies for Thanksgiving. They’ve been doing this since before I was born and I’m going on twenty-five, so it’s a pretty old tradition. Afterwards, we go to this subpar buffet down the road. It’s not terrible but, like I said, my family are creatures of habit.

Ok that’s a peek inside of Apple Day. Sorry for missing people (there are a lot more of us) but I whipped out my camera at the last minute after half of us had already started on the way to the restaurant. Hope you guys enjoyed this blog post because I paid $20.00 to upgrade space on my account in order to post it 😉
