It’s been so hot here in Baltimore lately. I think it’s actually the hottest it’s been on a consecutive basis…..ever. You walk outside and the heat is tangible; it’s like a wall of hot that you have no other choice but to hold your breath and walk through. Once you breathe out you accept your fate of sweating and melting until you make it back indoors again.
My AC in my car suddenly stopped working a few days ago, so driving to and from photo assignments has been less than pleasant. Contrary to all of that complaining, I’ve been feeling really inspired to photograph more often outside of work assignments. I contribute it to getting new gear but also because I feel that I’ve been dormant in the creative department for too long. It’s hard to be a creative and do that creative thing that you do for work….at the end of the day the last thing you want to do is more work. Separating the two can be difficult but it’s a habit I need to relearn.
Today I visited the conservatory in Baltimore. It’s crazy to me that I’ve never actually been to it even though I’ve lived here most of my life. I felt really relaxed there and want to go back sometime soon.
These two cute models are Abbey and Hondro.
