Today I woke up. Outside looked like the inside of a dream. Lately, we’ve had freezing cold weather but some rain brought in high temperatures resulting in thick clouds of fog all over the city. I LOVE fog. It’s beautiful and completely transforms the landscapes that you’re used to seeing everyday. I couldn’t see three feet in front of my face. It’s been awhile since I’ve felt inspired by my surroundings; it was a much needed inspiration.
My friend Becca and I took some portraits in Fells Point, a historic little pocket of Baltimore that usually has beautiful harbor views and sunsets. It was unrecognizable today, looking more like a faraway place like Iceland over Fells Point. I kept wondering if anyone was going to walk off the edge of the wall and fall into the water – it was that dense.
