It’s been a minute since my last post and I’m happy to say I’m starting out with a fun one. Last night I had the pleasure of attending a special viewing of the Living Seashore exhibit for community partners at the Baltimore Aquarium. I’ve always loved the aquarium since I was a kid, ultimately interning there in high school and continuing to be involved in various events throughout college. It’s nice to be able to explore and photograph all of the sea creatures after hours – there’s a reason that place is so crowded during the day!
Living Seashore allows guests to touch and interact with the creatures that are most often found on the seashore. Horseshoe crabs, sting rays and moon jellies are the most frequent visitors. If you have the chance to go, please do. I’d tell you what a jellyfish feels like but to be honest I don’t know if I can put it into words. Slimy, soft, airy?
Did you miss the Snapchat video? View it here! Sorry about the perspective being vertical…I’m new to Snapchat.
Let’s not forget the other creatures spread across the rest of the aquarium!
Thanks for viewing! Thanks to the National Aquarium for the invite, as always. 🙂
I feel like I’m there. Thanks for sharing
